●▬Importance Acquring Knowledge▬●
The first surah sent down to Prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h). it could have been any other sura . It could have been ‘sura Al-Fil’, it could have been ‘Al-Ikhlas’, it could have been ‘just worship your Lord’. But Allah (swt) in His own greatest and manifest wisdom, had it be ‘Read’, to emphasize the importance of knowledge.
How beautiful is it that Allah (swt) began with the ‘aql as the gateway to your heart. To understand and love Him rather than blindly believe, submit, and follow without emotion or reason. Read. Furthermore, we can’t correct the ongoing misconceptions of Islam to non-Muslims and Muslims alike, and correct our image in the world today, if we don’t have the knowledge to back ourselves up.
"IQRA BISMI RABBIKAL LAZI KHALQ". Read!In the name of your Lord who created (all that exits). Surah Al’Alaq 96:1
IQRA is the first word revealed to our Muhammed (p.b.u.h) from ALLAH swt, which means read, acquire knowledge. As our Muhammed (p.b.u.h) said “Talab ul ilmu farizatun ala kulli muslim”.Acquiring knowledge is obligatory on every muslim..Knowledge of Truth and wisdom. And ofcourse which knowledge is grater than the knowledge of Quran
Iqra! The first word sent down to Muhammed (p.b.u.h). I thought to myself, it could have been any other word. It could have been ‘Allah’, it could have been ‘Salam’, it could have been ‘just worship your Lord’.
The word “Iqra” has a double meaning . It means “read” and it also means “proclaim.” Furthermore , the very fact that the very first word of the very first revelation is “Iqra” is very significant. It ensures that it remains in the memory of muslims –ie it is easy for people to remember the first verse ; but to remember the 5th or 10th verse is not so easy. The significance for muslims (and all humanity) is that knowledge is light ; during any period of Jahiliya & ignorance , it is only knowledge that can bring people out of darkness. Furthermore , before one can ‘proclaim’ or spread the message , it logically follows that the proclaimer of the message must first ‘read” – ie it is our duty to first acquire the knowledge (ie read) and then spread the knowledge (ie proclaim). The Muhammed (p.b.u.h) also warned about a period when ignorance will prevail :
Sahih Bukhari Hadith Narrated by Anas (RA)
Allah’s Apostle (SAW) said :” From amoung the portents of the Hour are the following
(1) religious knowledge will be taken away (by the death of religious men)
(2) ignorance will prevail
To avert the above and to show the importance of seeking knowledge and spreading knowledge , the Muhammed (p.b.u.h)urged his followers to spread knowledge as much as possible :
Sahih Bukhari Hadith Narrated by Abdullah bin Amr (RA)
The Muhammed (p.b.u.h): “ Convey my teachings to the people even if it were a single sentence”
The Muhammed (p.b.u.h) also enjoined his followers to ‘seek knowledge even if you have to travel to China” and “knowledge is the lost property of the believer”. The Quran challenges the reader to ponder :
S39V9 (Surah Zumar) :….”Say “are those equal , those who know and those who do not know?”
And furthermore , we are encouraged to ask Allah’s (SWT) help in seeking knowledge
S20V114 (Surah Ta-Ha) :”O Allah ! Increase me in knowledge”.
Hence , the importance of acquiring knowledge and spreading knowledge is indisputable. Muslims throughout the ages have been motivated & inspired by the numerous verses in the Quran and by the advice of the Muhammed (p.b.u.h). The early Muslims thus heralded the Golden Age of Islam.
EARLY MUSLIM’S SUCCESSES THROUGH KNOWLEDGE : in brief
The Quran & Sunnah inspired thousands of scholars to branch out in various fields and in far corners of the world in search of knowledge as well as in spreading the knowledge , in keeping with the concept of “Iqra.” They did this with enthusiasm and became world class experts in various fields such as Medicine , Science , Astronomy , Mathematics & sea-voyages. As a result of this , the Muslims became theSuperpower of the world for more than 800 years. They were world leaders in military & technology and science . Yet they neither abused the power that they acquired , nor did they hold on to this knowledge selfishly . Instead , they used this knowledge for the upliftment of humanity and also shared this knowledge with others. Arabic became the international language of the world in the same way that English , today, is the international language . Modern Universities and institutes of learning together with huge libraries , were established in Cordova, Spain & in Iraq (Baghdad). These institutions gave birth to thousands of students and scholars in various fields of endeavours . Non-Muslim students from the West , specifically learnt Arabic so that they could attend these Muslim Universities , which had the status of the “Harvard’s” , “Cambridge’s” & “Oxfords” of today. Many of these Western students went back to their homelands and plagiarized the Muslim discoveries and cloaked them as personal discoveries. Hence , we find that Sir William Harvey had been credited with the discovery of the blood circulation in 1615, while in fact , the Muslims knew about this 300 years previously. Another example is the discovery of America. History books inform us that Columbus discovered America while in fact , America was discovered by the Spanish & West African (Morroco) Muslims 500 years prior to Columbus’s voyage. Interestingly , Columbus documented in his journal that as he approached the shores of America , he noticed several minarets of Mosques. Two of the Captains of his fleet of ships were in fact Muslim navigators who already had detailed cartographic information on the route to traverse across the great Atlantic Ocean to reach the far distant land of America. There are however , some Non-Muslim writers who acknowledge the important role played by the Muslims :
Bertrand Russel : “The brilliant civilization of Islam flourished from India to Spain while the rest of Western Europe was still in the dark ages”
Napoleon Bonaparte : “ I hope the time is not far off when I shall be able to unite all the wise & educated men of all the countries & establish a uniform regime based on the principles of the Quran which alone are true & which alone can lead men to happiness”
Sir George Bernard Shaw : “If any religion had the chance of ruling over England & Europe , it would be Islam”
The above achievements of the Early Muslims during the Golden Age of Islam , clearly indicate that the Muslims are the intellectual forbearers of the West. Western civilization owes a debt of gratitude to the Muslims , far greater than it can ever imagine. Just as the world benefited from the Islamic Intellectual revolution, so too is the world hungry today for a spiritual revolution and a return to ethics, morality & good conduct.
EDUCATING OUR YOUTH
Knowledge is light. The Quran & Sunnah removed the darkness of the world in the days of Jahiliya . Knowledge is enlightenment . The greatest threat to governments and oppressive regimes is a free thinking mind that asks difficult & uncomfortable questions. We have to train our youth to be leaders and to develop thinking skills on a foundation of sound knowledge. There will always be periods in humanity or in various societies where ignorance will prevail ; it is then the duty & responsibility of a few individuals to stand up and seek knowledge and then share this knowledge with everyone :
S14V1 (Surah Ibrahim): “ A Book which We have revealed unto thee , in order that thou mightest lead mankind out of the depths of darkness into light…”
Learning is everyone’s birthright . We need to inculcate the love for learning in our young & old, in male and female , in rich and poor , in black & white , in employer and employee . This love for learning should be entrenched from an early age and should continue throughout life. Matric is not the end of learning , but it is simply the beginning – school should not be viewed as a burden , but rather a joy , privilege , opportunity and a great blessing . Youth is an age of many distractions and temptations and these energies have to be channeled in the right direction :
S30V54 :” Allah is He who created you of weakness , then He appointed after weakness strength, then after strength He appointed weakness and grey hair”
The above verse clearly highlights the age of strength ,namely , the youth. Mankind is at its peak , intellectually and physically , during the age of youth . These energies have to be harnessed otherwise we will be left with a ‘lost generation” ; in the youth of today lies our destiny . Depending on what values we instill in our children today , the future of our community and society will either be a dismal failure or a resounding success. We need to encourage our children to pursue their studies & be world class in their efforts and regain the Golden Age of Islam and the Muslims. Nuclear families of today are having an impact on the lost values of the community . In extended families , the parents & grandparents transmit moral, ethical values , respect and good manners to the children. In contrast , todays youth are trained by the 24 hour babysitter , namely the Television and they learn their manners & language from the TV.
Harmony between Qur’an and Science:
Islam is a faith based on the Reality and rational thought not on unscientific myths like many other religions. Allah says; “Soon shall We show them Our signs in the universe and in their own selves, until it becomes clear to them that this Qur’an is indeed the truth. Is it not enough that your Lord is a witness over everything?” (Qur’an;41:53). The learning of religious sciences go along with learning of other branches of knowledge which include social and physical sciences. Islam encourages reasoning, discussions and dialogue. Allah says: “Invite (all) to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for your Lord knows best who have strayed from His Path and who receive guidance.”(Qur’an;16:125).
The Qur’an contains more than 6000 ayaats (‘signs’) out of which more than thousand refer to various subjects of science, such as Astronomy, Physics, Geography, Geology, Oceanology, Biology, Botany, Zoology, Medicine, Physiology, Embryology as well as General Science, mostly un known to humanity at the time.
The creation of the universe by ‘The Big Bang’: “Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of Creation), before We clove them asunder?” (Qur’an;21:30). Initially there was gaseous mass before creation of galaxies: “Moreover, He Comprehended in His design the sky, and it had been (as) smoke: He said to it and to the earth: “Come ye together willingly or unwillingly.” They said: “We do come (together) in willing obedience.”(Qur’an;41:11). The shape of earth; “And the earth, moreover, hath He made egg shaped.” (Qur’an;79:30). Moon has reflected light and sun has its own light; “And (who) made the moon a light (nur, reflected light) in their midst and made the sun as a (Glorious)Lamp(siraja-own light).(Qur’an;71:16). The Sun Rotates:” It is He Who created the Night and the Day, and the sun and the moon: All (the celestial bodies) swim along, each in its rounded course.” (Qur’an;21:33). “It is not permitted to the sun to catch up the moon, nor can the night outstrip the day: Each (just) swims along in (its own) orbit (according to Law).” (Qur’an;36:40). The other examples are: The sun will extinguish;(Qur’an;36:38,13:2). The expanding nature of universe; (Qur’an;51:47).
Nuclear Science: Atoms can be divided;(Qur’an;10:61).
Geology: Mountains are like tent pegs firmly fixed providing stability; (Qur’an;78:6-7,21:31,79:32).
Oceanology: Darkness in depths of ocean; (Qur’an;24:40).
General Science: The water cycle;(Qur’an;39:21, 30:24,23:18).
Botany: Plants & Fruits have male and female; (Qur’an;20:53, 13:3).
Zoology: The bee and its skills; (Qur’an;16:68-69). Lifestyle and communication of ants; (Qur’an;27:17-18). Honey has healing for humankind; (Qur’an;16:69).
Biology: Creation of man from water;(Qur’an;25:54). Creation of living being;“ We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?” (Qur’an;21:30). Importance of fingerprints: (Qur’an;75:3-4) and the existence of pain receptors in the skin: (Qur’an;4:56).
Embryology: Embryological stages; (Qur’an;23:12-14, 75:37-39,82:7-8). Embryo partly formed and partly unformed; (Qur’an;22:5). First sense of hearing developed then sense of sight; (Qur’an;32:9,23:78). Sex determination factor for child; (Qur’an;53:45-46,75:37-39).
o Muslim World is failing So why????????
There are 3 major sources of distractions that prevent our youth from acquiring knowledge. These 3 sources are prevalent on a local level as well as on a global level :
Today’s youth are influenced by many more entertaining distractions that were not available 1-2 decades ago. The youth of today has to divide his/her time between television , video’s, cinema’s, shopping malls, cars, fashion trends, cell phones, dating , Video-Games , Internet and interactive TV. There is ‘so much to do , so little time.” Life becomes a treadmill and there simply isn’t the time to study or read or acquire knowledge . Hence , the youth of today is very ‘techno-savvy” –very knowledgeable regarding modern technology , but is actually illiterate when it comes to knowledge about the Deen or about morality , ethics, character & spirituality. This is the modern version of the age of Jahiliya – a new age of ignorance – ignorance about the Deen. War in communities usually occurs between leaders or prominent personalities in the community over difference in interpretation of Fiqh or Shariah or on optional matters. These differences split the community and the youth (& new reverts ) become confusedby all the fuss because the ‘leaders’ themselves are not good role models.
Islam established the right of intellectual freedom for both men and women. As long as Islam preserved its immaculate character, it proved itself to be the main defender and promoter of knowledge and civilization and the ardent ally of intellectual liberty. The moment extraneous elements attached themselves to it, it lagged behind in the race of progress. The great tragedy of Muslim history occurred over five centuries ago, when the study of Islamic sciences was separated from the other branches of knowledge in the Islamic learning institutions, considering it be evil and against the spirit of Islam. The women were discouraged to acquire knowledge. The Ottomans and Mughal empires also ignored to concentrate on acquisition of scientific knowledge. Islam is a faith based on the Reality and rational thought not on unscientific myths like many other religions. Islam advocates to maintain balance between the life of this world and struggle for the reward in hereafter, thus asceticism and monasticism is not part of Islam. The blending of religious and other knowledge at lower and middle levels prior to separation at higher lever for specialization in a particular discipline, would broaden the vision and provide adequate depth to the students of religious and other sciences. This will enable the Muslims to regain the lost leadership, prestige and respect.
Education is the best gift that a parent can give to his/her child. Our youth is our future . Each and everyone of us has the responsibility to ensure that the community that we live in , looks after its youth and inculcates in them the love for knowledge , development of sound character & sound values , enjoining the good & forbidding the wrong , looking after the widow and the orphan and be sterling examples of the strength & vigour of youth. Distractions are many. Fashions are forever changing. But the one steady , consistent , rock solid , timeless Message , is the Message of the Quran & the Sunnah. By holding firm to the Message , mankind will always find the Straight Path. The greatest disservice we do to the Qur’an is to keep it in velvet chambers on our shelves and regard it as an ‘ancient text.” The Qur’an is timeless – it is prevalent for all time : it is in fact the Book of the Future , the most modern text with a universal message for all humanity for all time to come. The Golden Age of Islam can berejuvenated again . Islam can once again be the moral force that leads mankind out of degradation and despair into hope and contentment by its transformational Eternal Message. There is only one pre-condition for this :
Verily, never will Allah (SWT) change a condition of a people unless they change it themselves , with their souls.
May Allah (SWT) Guide us and our youth to the Straight Path . Ameen!
●▬▬▬▬▬ Muslim of Ramadan ▬▬▬▬●
Ramadan Muslims are back in mosques when I see this sudden changes all over a night I started to think have these Muslims taken an oath from Allah, that they are going to worship only one month of Ramadan and other 11 months they will do as they wish. and have they taken permission from Allah that they will pray salah only in the month of Ramadan.
Now the mosques are full with people they started becoming religious and started giving fatwas and debate like Scholars.
——3 kind of people who are waiting for Ramadan——
———First kind of people are businessman ———
(clothes, food etc) they are eagerly waiting for this month when its started they will start there countdown of 30 days and want to earn profit as much as they can and as Ramadan about to end they will be disappointed that it ending so soon.
———Second kind of people are normal Muslims ———
when they enter Ramadan they will have a sudden change all over a night and start praying and do ibadah (عبادة) worship he will enjoy this month with food and his countdown will also start that when Ramadan ends so they can go back to their normal life.
———Third kind of people are mutakhi (momin) ———
they will be eagerly waiting for this month and they started preparation for Ramadan in shaban they will get more pious in this month and want to get more close to Allah and when Ramadan is about to end they will be crying that this month is leaving so quickly with sadness they think next year they may or may not get Ramadan in there life.
———Fourth kind of people are name sake Muslims ———
they have no connection with Islam they will live there life as kuffars. The month of Ramadan comes and goes like other months but they wont fast, or pray, or give zakat and or do ibadah (عبادة) worship and they sins as-usual.
Well readers hear what we want to conclude is be like third kind of Muslim who is sincerely waiting for Ramadan to worship Allah and not like others with intention of business or show off or etc, so don’t be Muslim only for Ramadan but be a Muslim till last breath.
————— Which kind of Muslims are you ? —————
● ▬▬▬▬ Rizk Phobic We Muslims ▬▬▬▬●
We are so worried about our Rizk (sustenance) which Allah promised that Allah will provide us, but still we are worried, it show amount of trust, believe or faith we have in him. We always think about tomorrow we are Rizk Phobic (sustenance Phobic) we are paranoid of Rizk (sustenance), we are always in despair when it come to wealth, we always think about how we will make it in future, worried, terrified, and paranoid. Running after money chasing it like disbelievers. It was narrated that
Disbelievers will be asked if Allah will give him earth full of gold will he then give that earth full of gold as a ransom for heaven he disbelievers said yes then Allah said I ask you more easy thing then that which was to believe in Allah alone but u haven’t done that.
So my brother and sister we are doing same mistake.
Are we not running after hand full of money or gold leaving prayers Salah? For worldly pleasure or our sleep (it show what stand important in our eyes)
So brother and sister Allah have written our sustenance Rizk 50thousand year before he created heaven and the earth, every thing you will get is mentioned.
The only test is how you get that which you are destined whether justly or unjustly or on the basis of sacrificing your things or preferences example (prayer) etc
We all know that iblis refused to bow onesce to Adam a.s, but how bow to Allah (salah) did we miss every day ?
Allah (SWT) has said in the Noble Qur’an: “I have not created the jinn and humankind for any other
purpose except that they should worship Me.“
(Iblis) wanted to prove that man did not deserve, not even for a moment, the superior status which had been granted to us by God.
So brother and sister never leave your salah stay away from sin and shitan
════ OBLIGATORY NOT OPTIONAL ════
Aisha r.a use to watch Muhamed s.a.w praying salah at night so offen most of the night almost all of the night to the degree that his feet got swollen She ask him Question O Muhammed s.a.w ,Allah has kept you free from sin and infact Allah have forgiven you, you have such a high rank you know you’r rank then why is it that you spend so much time in salah that your feet are actually swollen ?
And he answered so beautifully and i think we all should be thinking of it non of our feet are swolon right now yet we find it so difficult May Allah s.w grant us leason from the Answere
“Afala akuna abdan shakura?
Should i not be a slave who is great full who is thank full to his creatore for the status that he was granted ?
he want to please Allah more So that it made him happy when he stand and his legs are swolon because of standing for his own Creator SubhanAllah
═══════ ═══════ ═══════ ═══════
I want to ask a question and a serious question
Whats make us Happy Lets be frank
If you got a good deal at business, we become happy
1. If we feeling healthy our sickness is gone we feel happy
2. If we purchase a cloths that fit perfect we look happy
3. If we purchase a new vehical and it look stuning we feel happy
4. If we won a holiday ticket we will be happy
Lets be honest this what make us happy we have become materialistic lover Insted of loving Creator we are loving Creation and thus we are not thankfull to Rabul Alimin
Allah (azza wa jall) does not need us or our worship at all. We are not harming Him or benefiting Him in any way by worshiping Him or disobeying Him. He does not need anyone or anything, rather He is Self-Sufficient and always deserving of praise. This parable is to show how we contradict ourselves - we say that we love Allah, that we are thankful to Him, yet our actions show the complete opposite. Our actions show that we are careless, ungrateful and that we are very good at saying what we don’t mean.
Being thankful to Allah does not only mean to say “alhamdulillah” or doing a quick sajdah when we feel blessed. The prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) taught A’ishah that night that you must show your thankfulness to Allah. You have to strive to prove it.
We also learn from the Qur’an that shukr is by action. Allah (azza wa jall) says to the family of Dawud (alayhi salaam):
اعْمَلُوا آلَ دَاوُودَ شُكْرًا “Work, O family of David, in gratitude.” (34:13)
Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) did not say, “Be grateful!” rather He said to work in gratitude. We learn from the prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) that the most beloved fasting and prayer to Allah is the fasting and prayer of Dawud (alayhi salaam).
● ▬▬▬▬ SHIRK ▬▬▬▬●
1. Jews do SHIRK by calling & seeking Help from Prophet-Uzair (pbuh).
2. Christians do SHIRK by seeking Help from Prophet-Jesus (pbuh).
3. Hindus do SHIRK by seeking Help from Idols, Animals & Stones etc.
4. Sikhs do SHIRK by calling & seeking Help from Guru Nanak etc.
5. Shias do SHIRK by seeking Help from Ali, Hussain, Fatima (ra).6. Barelvis do SHIRK by seeking Help from Our Nabi (pbuh) & Graves of Aulia’s. instead of (GOD) Allah s.w
One of the forms of shirk which is particularly widespread in Muslim countries is: graveworship, the belief that dead awliyaa’ (“saints”) can fulfil one’s needs or help at times of distress, and calling upon them for aid. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him …” [al-Israa’ 17:23]
Similarly, they call upon dead Prophets, righteous people and others to intercede for them or to rescue them from some calamity, but Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Is not He (better than your gods) Who responds to the distressed one, when he calls Him, and Who removes the evil, and makes you inheritors of the earth, generations after generations? Is there any ilaah (god) with Allaah? …” [al Naml 27:62]
Some of them have adopted the habit of mentioning the name of a shaykh or wali (“saint”) when they stand up, or sit down, or stumble, or encounter problems or distress, so they might say “O Muhammad!” or “O ‘Ali!” or “O Husayn!” or “O Badawi!” or “O Jeelaani!” or “O Shaadhili!” or “O Rifaa’i!” - or they may call upon al-’Aydaroos or Sayyidah Zaynab or Ibn ‘Alwaan. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Verily those whom you call upon besides Allaah are slaves like you …” [al-A’raf 7:194]
Some of those who worship graves walk around them as if in Tawaaf, and acknowledge their corners, or touch them, kiss them, wipe their faces with their dust, prostrate towards them when they see them, or stand before them in fear and humility, praying for whatever they need of healing from some disease, or for a child, or for help with some difficulty. Sometimes they call upon the occupant of the grave, saying “O my master, I have come to you from far away, so do not let me down.”
But Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And who is more astray than one who calls (invokes) besides Allaah such as will not answer him till the Day of Resurrection, and who are (even) unaware of their calls (invocations) to them?” [al-Ahqaaf 46:5]
The prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) said: “Whoever dies calling on someone else as a rival to Allaah, will enter Hell.” (Reported by al-Bukhaari, al-Fath, 8/176). Some of them shave their heads at the graves, and some have books with titles like Manaasik Hajj al-Mashaahid (“The Rituals of Pilgrimage to Shrines”), mashaahid or shrines referring to graves or tombs of awliyaa’. Some of them believe that the awliyaa’ are running the affairs of the universe and that they have the power to benefit or harm.
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And if Allaah touches you with hurt, there is none who can remove it but He; and if He intends any good for you, there is no one who can repel His Favour …” [Yoonus 10:107]
It is also shirk to make a vow to any other than Allaah, as is done by those who vow to bring candles or lights for the occupants of the graves.
●▬▬ Ruling On Lies And Liars▬▬●
Allah, The Creator of mankind, told us in the 96th chapter of His Quran; "Lies, aggression and hostility come from the prefrontal lobe of the brain (behind the forehead)"; 1,400 years before Sigmund Freud existed.
————Position of Islam Regarding Lies And Liars ————
According to Quran & Sunnah
Allah Almighty tells about the source of lying inside the brain of humans, fourteen hundred years ago. Allah tells us how He will deal with the liars, the lying sinful liars, in surah Al Alaq. (chpater 96).
"Allah will grab him by the (naseyah) [frontal lobe of the brain], the lying sinful (naseyah).
How could anyone have imagined 1,400 years ago, the frontal lobe of the brain was the source of lying, agression and transgression? Yet, this is decribed in Quran as the exact location inside of the human mind for these horrible characteristics.
We can say, without doubt that, lying is one of the most evil characteristics, and which man’s innate common sense (Fitrah) agrees that it is wrong. Any who possess normal chivalry and sound reason would be obliged to same the same.
———— LETS ANALISE ARE WE MUSLIM ————
Malik related to me that Safwan ibn Sulaym said, “The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was asked, ‘
Can the mumin be a coward ?’ He said, ‘Yes.’ He was asked, ‘
Can the mumin be a miser ?’ He said, ‘Yes.’ He was asked, ‘
Can the mumin be a liar ?’ He said, ‘No.’ ”
——————— ARE YOU MUSLIM ? ————————
“It is only those who believe not in the Ayah (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, who fabricate falsehood, and it is they who are liars.”[al-Nahl 16:105]
Ibn Kathir said: “Then Allah tells us that His Messenger (p.b.u.h) is not a fabricator or a liar, because only the most evil of people who do not believe in the signs of Allah, the kafirs and heretics who are known amongst the people for telling lies, tell lies about Allah and His Messenger(p.b.u.h). The Messenger prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) was the most truthful of people, the most righteous, the most perfect in knowledge, action, faith and certain belief. He was known amongst his people for his truthfulness; none of them doubted that, to such an extent that he was known amongst them as ‘al-Ameen (the trustworthy) Muhammad.’
So, when Heraclius, the ruler of Rome, asked Abu Sufyan about the characteristics of the Messenger of Allah (p.b.u.h), one of the things he asked was, ‘Did you ever accuse him of lying before he said what he said?’ He said, ‘No.’ Heraclius said: ‘If he refrained from telling lies about people he would not go and tell lies about Allah’ (Tafseer Ibn Kathir, 2/588)
2. It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) said: “The signs of the hypocrite are three: when he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he is entrusted with something, he betrays that trust.”
(Narrated by al-Bukhari, 33; Muslim, 59)
———— The prohibition of lying. ————

al-Nawawi said: “What the commentators and most of the scholars said – which is correct – is that this means that these characteristics are the characteristics of hypocrisy, and the one who has these characteristics resembles the hypocrites in this sense.”
The words of the prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h), ‘He is a pure hypocrite’ mean that he strongly resembles the hypocrites because of these characteristics.
Some of the scholars said: this is concerning one in whom these characteristics predominate; one in whom these characteristics rarely appear is not included in this. This is the favored view concerning the meaning of this hadeeth. Imam Abu ‘Eesa al-Tirmidhi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated this meaning from the scholars and said: ‘The meaning of this according to the scholars is hypocrisy in one’s actions.’”(Sharh Muslim, 2/46-47)
———— The most evil kinds of lies are: ————
1. Lies told about Allah and His Messenger (p.b.u.h).
This is the most serious kind of lie, and the one who does this is subject to a severe warning. Some of the scholars said that the one who does this is to be denounced as a kafir.
Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):“Say: ‘Verily, those who invent a lie against Allah will never be successful’”[Yunus 10:69]
2. Lying in buying and selling.
It was narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) said: “There are three to whom Allah will not speak on the Day of Resurrection and He will not look at them or praise them, and they will have a painful torment.” The Messenger of Allah (p.b.u.h) repeated this three times. Abu Dharr said: “May they be doomed and lost, who are they, O Messenger of Allah?” He said, “The one who lets his garment hang below his ankles, the one who reminds others of his favors, and the one who disposes of his goods by swearing a false oath.” (Narrated by Muslim, 106)
‘O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah as just witnesses; and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety’[al-Ma’idah 5:8].” (Minhaj al-Sunnah, 1/16)
3. The prohibition on lying about visions and dreams
This refers to when some of them claim to have seen such and such in a dream, but they are not telling the truth, then in the morning he starts to tell the people something that he did not see.
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbaas that the prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) said: “Whoever tells of a dream that he did not see will be commanded [on the Day of Resurrection] to tie two grains of barley together, but he will never be able to do it. Whoever eavesdrops on people’s conversation when they dislike that – or they try to get away from him - will have molten copper poured in his ears in the Day of Resurrection. And whoever makes an image will be punished and will be told to breathe life into it, and he will not be able to do so.”
(Narrated by al-Bukhari, 6635)
————Lying in jest ————
Some people think that it is permissible to tell lies if it is in jest. This is the excuse that they use for telling lies on April 1st or on other days. This is wrong. There is no basis for this in the pure Shari’ah. Lying is haram. whether the one who does it is joking or is serious.
Lying in jest is haram. just like other kinds of lies. ————
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said: “The prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) said, ‘I joke, but I speak nothing but the truth.’”
(narrated by al-Tabarani in al-Mu’jam al-Kabeer, 12/391)
Lying when playing with children ————
We must beware of lying when playing with children, because that will be written down (in the record of deeds of) the one who that. The prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) warned against doing that. It was narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “My mother called me one day when the prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) was sitting in our house. She said, ‘Come here, and I will give you (something).’ prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) said, ‘What do you want to give him?’ She said, ‘I will give him a date.’ The prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) said: ‘If you had not given him something, you would have been lying.’”
————Permissible kinds of lies ————
Lying is permissible in three cases: war; reconciling between two disputing parties; and a husband lying to his wife or vice versa for the sake of love and harmony.
It was narrated that Asma’ Bint Yazeed said: “The prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) said: ‘It is not permissible to tell lies except in three (cases): when a man speaks to his wife in a way to please her; lying in war; and lying in order to reconcile between people.’”(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 1939)
●▬Backbiting(Speaking evil behind others)▬●
Gheebah or backbiting means speaking about a Believer in his absence and saying things that he would not like to have spread around or mentioned. Buhtaan or slander means saying things about a Believer that are not true, or in other words telling lies about him. malicious gossip means telling one person what another said in order to cause trouble between them.
God says (interpretation of the meaning): “neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting). And fear God . Verily, God is the One Who forgives and accepts repentance, Most Merciful”[al-Hujuraat 49:12]
Even “Saying something about your brother that he dislikes. Is backbiting”“What if what I say about my brother is true?” Muhammed s.a.w said, “If what you say is true then you have backbitten about him, and if it is not true, then you have slandered him.”
●▬▬▬ Believe Astrology ▬▬▬●
that the stars & planets have an influence on people’s lives & events
Zayd ibn Khaalid al-Juhani reported: “The prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) led us in the morning prayer at al-Hudaybiyah after rain had fallen during the night. When he had finished, he turned around to face the people and said: ‘Do you know what your Lord says?’ They said, ‘Allaah and His Messenger know best.’ He said: ‘[Allaah says]: This morning one of My slaves became a believer in Me and one became a disbeliever. As for the one who said, “We have been given rain by the grace and mercy of Allaah,” he is a believer in Me and a disbeliever in the stars; as for the one who said, “We have been given rain by such-and-such a star,” he is a disbeliever in Me and a believer in the stars.’” (Reported by al-Bukhaari; see Fath al-Baari, 2/333)
Similarly, the one who reads the horoscopes in newspapers and magazines and believes what they say about the influence of the stars and planets is a mushrik, and the one who reads them for entertainment is a sinner, because it is not permitted to entertain oneself by reading things that contain shirk, because Shaytaan will try to lead him to shirk
●▬▬Magic fortune-telling and divination ▬▬●
Other widespread forms of shirk are: magic, fortune-telling and divination. Magic (sihr) is an act of kufr, and one of the seven sins which doom a person to Hell. It causes harm but no benefit. Allaah says of the one who learns it (interpretation of the meaning): “…And they learn that which harms them and profits them not ” [al-Baqarah 2:102]
“… and the magician will never be successful, no matter what amount (of skill) he may attain).” [Ta-Ha 20:69]
The one who deals in magic is a kaafir, as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “… Sulayman did not disbelieve, but the shayaateen (devils) disbelieved, teaching men magic and such things as came down at Babylon to the two angels, Haaroot and Maaroot, but neither of these two (angels) taught anyone (such things) things till they had said, ‘We are only for trial, so disbelieve not (by learning this magic from us).’ …”[al-Baqarah 2:102]
The prescribed punishment for the one who practices magic is death, and his income is haraam and impure. But people who are ignorant wrongdoers and weak in faith go to magicians to help them harm someone or take revenge on someone. Some people commit the sin of going to a magician to ask his help in undoing the magic of someone else, when they should turn to Allaah to help them and heal them, by reciting His words, such as the soorahs that offer protection (al-Falaq and al-Naas), and so on.
Fortune-tellers and their ilk are kaafirs who disbelieve in Allaah, because they claim knowledge of the Unseen, but no one has knowledge of the Unseen except Allaah. Many of these fortune-tellers take advantage of simple-minded people and take their money. They use many methods such as drawing lines in the sand, throwing sea-shells, reading palms, teacups (or coffee cups), crystal balls and mirrors, and so on. If they get it right
one time, they get it wrong ninety-nine times, but ignorant people remember only the one time when these liars get something right. They go to them to find out about the future, whether they will be successful in marriage or business, or to help them find something they have lost, and so on. The ruling concerning the person who visits a fortune-teller is: if he believes what he says, he is a kaafir who has left Islaam, on the basis of the hadeeth in which the prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) said: “Whoever goes to a fortune-teller or a soothsayer and believes in what he says has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad.” (Reported by Imaam Ahmad, 2/429; see also Saheeh al-Jaami’, 5939). If a person does not believe that they have knowledge of the Unseen, but he goes out of curiosity or whatever, he is not a kaafir, but his prayers will not be accepted for forty days, as the prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) said: “Whoever goes to a fortune-teller and asks him about something, his prayers will not be accepted for forty nights” (Saheeh Muslim, 4/1751) - even though it is still obligatory to pray and to repent for this sin.
●▬▬ Is Smoking HARAAM in Islam ? ▬▬▬●
prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) said, every thing(/food) that creates addiction has made haram for you.(BUKHARI)
prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) also told us those who decreases our morality(behavior/morality itself ) has made haram for us.(al-hadith)
✦═════════| Smoking Is Makruh OR Haram-why? |════════✦
The declaration that “There is no God Worthy of being worshipped except Allah & that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”, demands that the Muslim accepts the Decrees set by Allah and by His Messenger-Muhammad (p.b.u.h.)
Islam is a Revelation from Allah with a complete code of life. It tells what is good and what is evil: Allah says in the Holy Quran: And We have shown him (man) the two ways (good and evil). (Quran 90/10)
He allows them all that is good and lawful, and prohibits them as unlawful all that is evil (things, deeds, beliefs, persons, foods, drinks, etc.). (Quran 7/157)
✦════| So, is smoking (cigarettes, pipes, etc.) evil or not? |════✦
✦═══════════| Let us examine its effects: |═══════════✦
* Smoking is a killer: causes lung-cancer, lung-tuberculosis and heart diseases.
Allah says: And do not kill yourselves. (Quran 4/29)
He also says: And do not throw yourselves into destruction. (Quran 2/195)
These verses are sufficient to make you decide wether smoking Haram or .
* Smoking is a wasting of wealth. Allah says: …But spend not wastefully (your wealth) in the manner of a spendthrift, Verily, spendthrifts are brothers of the
devils, and the Devil (Satan) is ever ungrateful to his Lord. (Quran 17/26-27)
* The smoker is unjust to himself as well as his family by burning away his money and his chest!
* The smoker not only causes harm to himself, he/she also inflicts harms upon others around him/her.
The prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) said: “There should be neither harming nor reciprocating harm.” (Saheeh Al-Jami 7517)
* The smokers cause the spread of evil; they smoke openly and thus encourage others to do the same.
* The smokers dislike fasting and praying because they become impatient. They want to go for the next “round”. The smoker becomes like an edict.
* The smoker smells bad! His car, home, clothes etc. carry the bad smell too.
From the above, it is clear that smoking is evil and thus it is Haram (unlawful).
DONT FORGET TO WATCH THIS
If you are under any kind of stress, then turn to Allah, read the Holy Quran, and be with non-smokers. Seek Allah’s help and don’t be enslaved to something that burns you and your money.
●▬▬ Men choose women for four reasons ▬▬●
Muhammad said: “Men choose women for four reasons: for their money, for their rank, for their beauty and for their religion, but marry one who is religious and you will succeed (Bukhari, Muslim).
This of course, applies to women as well. However, religion it seems, is not always foremost in the minds of many people. In fact, it is probably the last factor on many Muslims’ list.
According to Tasneem Qadeer, one of the seven volunteers who runs the Islamic Society of North America’s matrimonial service, being a doctor or a lawyer is much more important to many Muslim women than piety. And the men are not any better. Many matrimonial advertisements for instance, demonstrate a key demand for a wife who has to be fair, slim and beautiful.
If we want to have healthy Muslim families then Deen has to be first, says Aneesah Nadir, Director of Social Services for the Arizona Muslim Family Health and Social Services in Tempe. She is one of the co-developers of the program Marriage the Islamic way, which teaches various aspects of marriage such as how to find a spouse, the wedding and the post-wedding marriage relationship with your spouse.
●▬A Muslim Girl’s Guide For Dealing With Guys▬●
Life is full of crazy obstacles, but the one that will probably bug you the most and always be getting in the way is the opposite gender. Here, from o*!ne sister to another, is a Muslim girl’s guide for how to deal with guys.
——— No Touching! ———
Muslims are forbidden to touch any non-Mahram (Mahram is your dad, brothers, father-in-law, husbands, grandfathers, and the siblings of your parents) person of the opposite gender. That means no patting o*!n the back, no hand shaking, no pushing, no shoving, no holding hands, and obviously no kissing and all that. If you’re in a difficult situation where you think someone will try to shake your hand, the best thing to do is just smile and say, “My people don’t shake hands” and then explain why. And why, is because we believe a woman’s touch is a privilege and she doesn’t just share it with anyone.
——— No Flirting! ———
Not even with Muslims, not even in an Islamic school, especially not in a masjid! Flirting means that you’re saying or doing things o*!n purpose that make the other person attracted to you. There’s no set criterion for what flirting is, but any girl knowswhat is and how to do it. Muslim women are supposed to behave better than the average woman, who has to be beautiful for all the men around her all the time, who are trapped behind their looks and o*!nly judge themselves to be worthy if half the men they know are in love with them. A wise dude o*!nce said, “Don’t start the mower unless you intend to cut the grass”. If you don’t want a guy’s advances, then don’t do anything to earn them. There’s no point in throwing yourself all over guys and trying to seduce half the world. You really o*!nly want to marry o*!ne guy, and you want to spend the rest of your life with him, and chances are he isn’t going to be some dork you fluttered your eyelashes at in high school.
——— No Boyfriends! ———
As a Muslim, you know that having a boyfriend is haraam because it counts as Zina - fornication. Fornication, in easy English, means `sexual sin’. Allah expressly forbids romantic or sexual relationships outside of marriage. When people go against that rule, then you get the typical western society where people play sexual merry-go-round with each other, giving each other STDs, using and abusing each other, and destroying the sacredness of marriage as an institution. You can’t even be sort of engaged to a guy, and then “date” to get to know each other. In Islam, non-Mahram men and women aren’t allowed to be alone together (that includes talking o*!n the phone!), to touch (not even shake hands), or even gaze at each other. It doesn’t matter if the guy you like is Muslim, a great guy and the Prince of England, you can’t date him.
——— No Boy—friends! ———
The easiest way to ensure that you don’t end up falling in love with some guy before you’re ready to get married is to avoid making friends with boys. Of course in school you have to interact with boys all over the place, but that doesn’t mean you should be best buds with them. Probably 90% of relationships begin from friendships. Chances are you’re not ready for marriage, your parents aren’t ready to let you get married, you’re still in school/college and your crush is not the sort of fellow you want to spend the rest of your life with, so just avoid being friends with him in the first place. It really is the best formula for saving yourself from needless temptation. When you have to talk to boys in school as teammates, lab partners, group members, and peers, it’s best to maintain a distance. That means that you don’t confide in them, you don’t let down your guard, you don’t unnecessarily engage them in needless conversation, don’t joke around, and never flirt. Yeah it may be a little hard, but this is your afterlife we’re talking about. So many great sisters have put themselves in really sticky situations because they allowed a boy to get to know them, and either ended up liking the boy, or having the boy like them. o*!nce that happens you either end up becoming a pair (which is HARAAM!), or having to end your friendship. Instead of letting it get to that point, and then having to kill a friendship that you probably worked hard o*!n cultivating, you should just stop it before it begins. There are plenty of great girls all around who can be your friends and if you really think o*!nly a guy will understand your problem, then talk to your REAL brother, or your father, or an uncle.
—— No Talking o*!n the Phone with Boys and Chatting! ——
In Islam its forbidden for non-related guys and girls to be alone together because there is the chance for physical zina, vocal zina, and zina of the eyes. That means, with no o*!ne there to watch you guys except that boogery shaitaan, then you might be tempted to actually DO something, or say gross things, or just stare at each other all lustily. With that in mind, it’s also a safe bet to assume that talking o*!n the phone with non-Mahram guys is a no-no too. Why? Because unless you’ve both got it o*!n speaker-phone and you’re chaperoned by a responsible person, then you’re still kind of “alone” with him. The people in your house can’t hear what he’s saying to you, and his family can’t hear what you’re saying to him. There’s a chance for some bad stuff then, so just avoid it. Not to mention, having some dude saying things into your ear that no o*!ne else can hear would be gross in real life, why is it okay for him to talk into your ear via the telephone? For the most part it’s just too intimate.
Well, imagine how ungrateful it is to act like a supreme idiot when Allah can see you all the time, and it’s really stupid to disregard the religion that Allah prescribed, the favors He’s bestowed upon you. How dumb is it to take the eyes thatAllah gave you and do things with them that He told you not to? (like goggle at boys?) How much stupider is it that He can see you doing this, and you know it! You have no secrets! Not because Big Brother (whoever that is…) is watching you, but because every single thing you ever did will become public domain o*!n the Day of Judgment, and you’ll be brought to trial to defend what you did. Just don’t do anything that you wouldn’t want your parents, your siblings, your teachers, your friends, and thewhole world to know about, ok? GIRLS BEWARE PLEASE… IT IS SERIOUS! HELP YOURSELF It has recently been found out that there are some spammers present on Orkut, hi5, MSN or Yahoo! profiles etc who download the Photographs of Girls from their Profile and they get 5 cent per photograph. These photographs are later sent into Image Editors like Photoshop where they are morphed and superimposed on the images of *!*!*!*! Stars. These people are so expert in this field that the photographs looks completely real and anyone can get deceived by generated images. These photographs are then used for multiple purposes like Printing in International Magazines, Uploading on paid *!*!*!*! Sites and sometimes even blackmailing. And the post consequences are a known fact. So after knowing about this fact my advice to all sisters of my brothers here to please remove their photo’s from Orkut,hi5 and other places and don’t give the culprits a chance todo play around with You.
——— Be Disaffected! ———
What does that mean? Disaffected means un-affect-able. That means that nothing a dude can say can hit your nerves, make you blush, or get a reaction out of you. It also means that you are uninterested in what they do as well. Imagine yourself being in an airplane looking down on the scenery below. You’re a little interested in what’s going on down there, and it may look really nice, but you know that to get to the scenery you have to jump off the plane. Like the scenery miles below you, the guy may look really nice, but you know that to get him you have to jump off the plane …errr…commit spiritual suicide, and though the fall may be fun, you will eventually hit the ground 600 meters below and go -splat– on Judgment Day. Maybe even sooner.
Short of becoming an ice-princess, being disaffected involves putting up a mental wall between you and all of male-kind. They don’t know your thoughts and you don’t care for theirs. You can interact with guys at school within the bounds of Islam, but always maintain a formal distance. Don’t ask a guy how his infected toe is doing. Don’t give him a hug when he looks down. Don’t offer to help him with his homework. Don’t go out of your way to remind him that you exist, and that you’re not half bad looking. Even if you don’t feel like behaving, make yourself behave anyway, your afterlife is important enough to discipline yourself for.
The safest philosophy when dealing with guys is remembering this “He’s not what I want, so why should I do anything to make him interested in me? That’ll just make for a painfully awkward situation and it’s not worth the sin anyhow.”
Remember that you’re always being watched! Would you act all giggly and stupid with boys if the prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) could see you? No, right? Because you’d feel like an ungrateful idiot for disregarding the religion that prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) took so much pain for just to deliver to you. Well, imagine how ungrateful it is to act like a supreme idiot when Allah can see you all the time, and it’s really stupid to disregard the religion that Allah prescribed, the favors He’s bestowed upon you. How dumb is it to take the eyes that Allah gave you and do things with them that He told you not to? (like goggle at boys?) How much stupider is it that He can see you doing this, and you know it!
——— You have no secrets! ———
Not because Big Brother (whoever that is…) is watching you, but because every single thing you ever did will become public domain on the Day of Judgment, and you’ll be brought to trial to defend what you did. Just don’t do anything that you wouldn’t want your parents, your siblings, your teachers, your friends, and the whole world to know about, ok?
*Vies versa this apply to guys .
● ▬▬▬▬ P * O * R * N ▬▬▬▬●
It is a disease, not a remedy. The one who does that is afflicted and he should seek to remedy himself by repenting and giving it up, not by making up excuses for himself. All sinners make up excuses for themselves. The one who drinks alcohol or takes drugs or commits adultery – they all claim that they are under pressure and that they cannot escape it except by doing something haraam.
In fact these haraam things only add to their worries and stress. One of the punishments of sin is feelings of stress and alienation, and darkness on the face and in the heart. The further away a person is from his Lord and the more he is indulging in sins, the further away the means of attaining happiness and peace of mind are from him, as Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):
“But whosoever turns away from My Reminder (i.e. neither believes in this Quran nor acts on its orders, etc.) verily, for him is a life of hardship”[Ta-Ha’ 20:124].
As for the people of faith and obedience, Allah, may He be exalted, says concerning them (interpretation of the meaning):
“Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter)”[an-Nahl 16:97].
What you have to do is advise your husband to keep away from these haraam things, and tell him about beneficial remedies to treat stress and anxiety, one of the greatest of which is reading the Holy Qur’aan, which is the means of bringing relief and peace to the heart. See the answer to question no. 21677 and 30901.

——— Give Me The Permission To Commit ZINA (Unlawful SEX) ———
▬▬▬ A young man came to the Muhammed (p.b.u.h) and said,▬▬▬▬
“O Messenger of Allah! Give me permission to commit Zina (unlawful sex).”
The people surrounded him and rebuked him, saying, “Stop! Stop!”
But the Muhammed (p.b.u.h)said, (Come close) The young man came to him, and he Muhammed (p.b.u.h)said,(Sit down) so he sat down.
Muhammed (p.b.u.h) said, (Would you like it (unlawful sex) for your mother)
He (The Young Man) said, “No, by Allah, may I be ransomed for you.”
Muhammed (p.b.u.h)said, (Neither do the people like it for their mothers.)

(O Allah, forgive his sin, purify his heart and guard his chastity.)

——— Solution to Zina ———
Muhammed (p.b.u.h)said “Marriage is my tradition. He who rejects my tradition is not of me” (Bukhari, Muslim).
"Marriage is half of religion. The other half is being God-fearing" (Tabarani, Hakim).
In Islam there is no fixed rule as to the age of marriage. It is becoming fashionable for young Muslim men not to marry until they have completed their education, have a job, or reached age 26-30 or more. Similarly young Muslim girls say they want to marry after age 24. Why? When asked, they say, “I am not ready for it.” Not ready for what? Don’t they have normal sexual desire? If the answer is yes, then they have only one of the two choices a) marry or b) postpone sex (abstinence until they marry). The Quran says, “Let those who find not the where withal for marriage, to keep them selves chaste till God find them the means from His Grace” (24:33).
Muhammed (p.b.u.h)said, “Those of you who own the means should marry, otherwise should keep fasting for it curbs desires” (Ibn Massoud). The Western reason for delaying marriage is different than ours. When I suggested this to one of my sexually active young female patients, she bluntly said, “I don’t want to sleep with the same guy every night.”
Most neglected duty is Zakah (Charity Tax)?.
zakath is third pillar of islam But did you know that it is most likely that the most neglected duty is Zakah?.
§ We all know that Islam is built on five pillars:
1. To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah’s Apostle.
2. To offer the (compulsory congregational) prayers dutifully and perfectly.
3. To pay Zaka (i.e. obligatory charity) .
4. To perform Hajj. (i.e. Pilgrimage to Mecca)
5. To observe fast during the month of Ramadan.
What is zakath Zakat: Islamic tax, given from one’s wealth to the poor and needy.Zakat (or Zakat-ul-Mal) is an obligatory charity. It generally equals 2.5% of the wealth someone has owned for a full year. Aside from being one of the pillars of Islam, Zakat is good for you. It comes from the Arabic word for “purification” - by giving your Zakat you purify the remaining 97.5% of your wealth. Also, Zakat has an important social role. It helps the needy, creates a fairer society, and nurtures fellowship between Muslims.
▬▬▬ Result of charity ▬▬▬
Muhammed (p.b.u.h) said, “A man said that he would give something in charity. He went out with his object of charity and unknowingly gave it to a thief. Next morning the people said that he had given his object of charity to a thief. (On hearing that) he said, “O Allah! All the praises are for you.
I will give alms again.” And so he again went out with his alms and (unknowingly) gave it to an adulteress. Next morning the people said that he had given his alms to an adulteress last night. The man said, “O Allah! All the praises are for you. (I gave my alms) to an adulteress.
I will give alms again.” So he went out with his alms again and (unknowingly) gave it to a rich person. (The people) next morning said that he had given his alms to a wealthy person. He said, “O Allah! All the praises are for you. (I had given alms) to a thief, to an adulteress and to a wealthy man.”
Then someone came and said to him, “The alms which you gave to the thief, might make him abstain from stealing, and that given to the adulteress might make her abstain from illegal sexual intercourse (adultery), and that given to the wealthy man might make him take a lesson from it and spend his wealth which Allah has given him, in Allah’s cause. Narrated by Abu Huraira:Allah’s” Volume 2, Book 24, Number 502: (mashallah)
Allah’s Apostle said,”You have to pay the Zakat (obligatory charity).” The man asked, “Is there any thing other than the Zakat for me to pay?” Allah’s Apostle replied, “No, unless you want to give alms of your own.” And then that man retreated saying, “By Allah! I will neither do less nor more than this.” Allah’s Apostle said, “If what he said is true, then he will be successful (i.e. he will be granted Paradise).”
Zakat is the major economic means for establishing social justice and leading the muslim socity to proposperity and security.

What happens when we defraud the government in our taxes? The answer is obvious. We go to prison or pay a heavy fine. But what happens when we defraud Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala? The Merciful answers this question in the following verse of the Glorious Qur’an:

what happens when we defraud the government in our taxes? The answer is obvious. We go to prison or pay a heavy fine. But what happens when we defraud Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala? The Merciful answers this question in the following verse of the Glorious Qur’an:
Narrated Asma: Muhammed (p.b.u.h)said to me, “Do not withhold your money, (for if you did so) Allah would with-hold His blessings from you.”Volume 2, Book 24, Number 513:
“They who hoard up gold and sliver and spend it not in the way of Allah, announce to them (O Muhammad) a painful torment. On the day when it all will be heated in the Fire of Hell, and their foreheads and their flanks and their backs will be branded with it, (and it will said to them) This is the treasure which you hoarded for yourself, now taste of what you used to hoard.” [Surah At-Tawbah; 9: 34-35]
▬▬▬Upper hand is better than the lower hand ▬▬▬
Narrated Hakim bin Hizam Muhammed (p.b.u.h) said, “The upper hand is better than the lower hand (i.e. he who gives in charity is better than him who takes it). One should start giving first to his dependents. And the best object of charity is that which is given by a wealthy person (from the money which is left after his expenses). And whoever abstains from asking others for some financial help, Allah will give him and save him from asking others, Allah will make him self-sufficient.”Volume 2, Book 24, Number 508:
First to follow the Muhammed (p.b.u.h) Narrated ‘Aisha:Some of the wives of the Muhammed (p.b.u.h) asked him, “Who amongst us will be the first to follow you (i.e. die after you)?” He said, “Whoever has the longest hand.” So they started measuring their hands with a stick and Sauda’s hand turned out to be the longest. (When Zainab bint Jahsh died first of all in the caliphate of ‘Umar), we came to know that the long hand was a symbol of practicing charity, so she was the first to follow Muhammed (p.b.u.h) and she used to love to practice charity. (Sauda died later in the caliphate of Muawiya).Volume 2, Book 24, Number 501:
The Third Pillar of Islam: Compulsory Charity (zakat)
▬▬▬ Some of my views ▬▬▬
I dont need to tell importanat of zakath as we all know it is third pillar of islam
if our pillar is strong then our brother (MUSLIM) will be strong and they wont do any wrong things and we can lead humans
zakat is the major economic means for establishing social justice and leading the muslim socity to proposperity and security.
it is our duty to follow and we can make a peace full world without thief ,adulteress (the reason people do wrong things like steeling and prostitution because of inequality of wealth , if we wont follow and dont give zakah result will be people will be doing wrong things and the blame will be on us ) zakat is the major economic means for establishing social justice and leading the muslim socity to proposperity and security
plez go and search people who are poor and give them zakath directly insted of giving to any islamic organization or trust you dont know what they will do with ur money
there was a king who use to go out with his wazer and both of them use to dressed in old fakir cloths and go to every house and peak and see where is real poor who are starving for food and then give them money and help them
"when king a busy person can go and search y cant we, r we so busy we don’t have time for third pillar of islam "
Well I feel it is very important that we don’t give our money blindly, and check the background of any charity organizations before we give. By checking I certainly don’t advise to delay in giving as zakat is a very important reward and the delay only means a delay in crediting your own bank of deeds.
SOME OF the Nobel Quran VERSES
“ And strive in His cause as ye ought to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline). He has chosen you, and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion; it is the cult of your father Abraham. It is He Who has named you Muslims, both before and in this (Revelation); that the Messenger may be a witness for you, and ye be witnesses for mankind! So establish regular Prayer, give regular Charity, and hold fast to Allah. He is your Protector - the Best to protect and the Best to help! ” (22/78)
“ Those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and establish regular prayers andregular charity, will have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.” (2/277)
Muhammad (saw) said, “Seven [types of] people are shaded by Allah in the shade of His Throne, on the Day when there will be no shade but His Shade [i.e. on the Day of Judgement] –
A just ruler,
A young man who grew up in the worship of Allah,
A person whose heart is attached to the mosque [and longs to return to it] from the moment he leaves it until he returns to it,
Two persons who love each other for the sake of Allah, meet for His sake and depart from each other for His sake,
A person who remembers Allah in solitude and his eyes well up with tears,
A man whom an extremely beautiful and rich woman seduces, but he [rejecting her seduction] says, ‘I fear Allah’; and
A person who gives charity and conceals it [to such an extent] that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given.”
